We used methaphors to engage participanets in the assessment of the Regional Dialogue around El Salvador’s Climate Change Adaptation-based-Mitigation (MbA) approach. For the first time, the Whole Person approach and the U-process methodology were applied in the MEL context.
We pioneered a radically participatory evaluation to determine the impact the Business Brains programme was having on girls and their communities. Using a radical peer-based and strengths-focused methodology we went beyond what is normally understood as a participatory evaluation. We engaged all 11 local staff during all stages of the evaluation.
We developed an asynchronous outcome map framework and tools to collect feedback via velfies (video selfies), where participants of training programmes answer a set of questions that are sent in advance. The end product is a 10-minute video combining all the 12 participants’ feedback from five countries.
To evaluate the 1st Global Humanitarian partnership between the Laudes Foundation (former C&A Foundation), C&A and Save the Childre we pioneered the Whole Person Approach (WPA) in an evaluation context.
We supported Climate Ambition Support Alliance’s (CASA) and the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) on the development of CASA’s monitoring and evaluation and learning (MEL) framework. Alongside our colleagues at INTRAC, we led a participatory monitoring evaluation and learning (MEL) process with PwC and its seven alliance partners.
