El Salvador Country Impact Study, Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN)

The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) is an international aid programme from UK-DFID and the Dutch Government. Through a partnership between international and regional NGOs with PwC, CDKN has invested £1.3 m in El Salvador programme over 5 years. In a flied visit, we conducted in-depth interviews with local stakeholders and we run workshops to gather evidence of the programme’s impact. Adding evidence from a desktop research, we have also brought in cutting-edge reporting techniques (using metaphors, pictures and anecdotal stories) to make the results more engaging. For the first time, the Whole Person approach and the U-process methodology were applied in the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) context.
