As Head of Effective Philanthropy and C&A Foundation, Lee A. Risby was looking for an evaluation approach that would not make people feel threatened, like policing. They wanted to evaluate their first Global Humanitarian Partnership with Save the Children. Considering that partnerships are like marriage, evaluation could be a recipe for secrecy.
