We worked together with Oasis in designing and rolling-out Bettys & Taylors Group’s (BTG) programme of globally responsible practice for all employees. Bettys & Taylors is well-known for its strong socially-responsible, environmental approach. We helped their employees to connect their passions to their work and identify leverage points and strategic projects in their roles that would improve even more BTG’s performance.
We used a participative approach and flat structure, where the Head of Procurement from Head Office could be in the same team as a Baker from the factory, and a Waiter from the shop floor in one of their famous tea houses in Yorkshire. They have learned much more from each other than they expected and the programme was a platform for further action across different arms of the business that would not normally work together.
