Mozambique’s Climate Change Programme for UK-DFID
What we did
World Café methodology introduced
Our role was of the lead consultant advising the local DFID office on the business case for BRILHO – Energy Africa Mozambique [£ 34 m / 5 year renewable off-grid energy programme].
We coordinated the team of experts that carried an in-depth assessment of the best value-for-money alternatives.
The assessment included a field visit to Beira Corridor, where meetings with local stakeholders were held to gather evidence of their needs.
The project also encompassed stakeholder workshops in Maputo. We have innovated in the facilitation of the workshops by bringing the World Café methodology to the country for the first time.
[note: BRILHO [bri-lyo] means ‘bright’ or ‘shine’ in Portuguese]
